Over the period, we all have heard that reading is an exercise of the mind, but what if the mind is pre-consumed with the words of others? Technically, the words that do not matter but still exist. In such a case, the mind needs a better exercise, preferably a movie!

And the ones who do both know that these are two different worlds, books being the Earth as films can never fully depict what the writers wrote. With time and revolution, the media industry grew, and many books were converted into great films. Some of them were remarkable, while others were not upto the expectations. Nevertheless, the people love what they love!

Authored by Stephen King and produced by Stanley Kubrick, The Shining is one of the most popular books that received a film adaptation. Even though the book and movie were quite different, a few iconic scenes in the book were not initially part of the movie. And similarly, some exotic depictions in the movie were not really mentioned in the book. However, it is not just one of the most viewed films but is also considered great.

The cautionary tale on genetic engineering has left an undeniable scar on the minds of kids and adults. Every time one visits an amusement park, the reel of what happens in the dinosaur world doesn’t stop playing. The classic modern literature, written by Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird, is one of the best books and movies of all time. The story revolves around sensitive topics like racism and rape, the sense of warmth and openness has led the book to build a permanent place in middle and high schools libraries all over the United States.

American historical drama, written by Steven Zaillian and produced by Steven Spielberg, is based on the story of a German who saved more than thousands of people from the holocaust by employing them. The empathetic story of a man striving against all odds is, indeed, a great movie/book.
The Best One
Even though every book and movie has its own place in the hearts of readers and viewers, one thing which we all agree on is that Harry Potter is the best of all. No matter how much one denies it, our lives would’ve been different if it wasn’t for the Harry Potter Series.
